    Utah State Police

    The Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI) under the Utah Department of Public Safety provides access to criminal records statewide. Only authorized entities such as record owners, those authorized by them, criminal justice agencies, and certain non-criminal justice organizations are allowed to access criminal records from the BCI.

    Eligible persons can request criminal records by mail or in person. Persons who are making in-person requests must go to the BCI office during business hours with a valid ID and a $15 fee.
