To obtain such records, visit the records division of the police department that handled the arrest. Some may also provide open records portals or request forms for individuals to obtain public records. The records department may charge copy fees and require some information about the arrest event. The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) maintains official criminal history records containing arrest information provided by different agencies, including those from Rockland County.
