Ocean County Police Arrest Records

Arrest records in Ocean County may be obtained from the municipal police department where the arrest occurred, either in person or by mail. Some police departments provide an OPRA request form on their websites to facilitate record requests. To obtain records in person, requesters may print and complete the form and submit it with the required fees to the police department's Records Bureau during regular office hours. The New Jersey State Police (NJSP) is responsible for collecting, maintaining, and disseminating Criminal History Record Information (CHRI), which includes records of arrests and other relevant details. Enter the unique six-character service code for your application type, then select a time and location at an approved IdentoGO site and bring proper identification that matches the home address used during scheduling.

The required fee for fingerprinting is $45.73, which includes vendor and sales tax. Payments may be made using prepaid debit cards, American Express, MasterCard, or electronic debit from a checking account. Within 24 to 72 hours, you may download your records using your Personal Control Number (PCN), last name, and birthdate.

Ocean County Criminal Court Records

Arrest records for cases that resulted in formal charges may be obtained from the Ocean County Superior Court Clerk's Office or the relevant municipal court, depending on where the case was heard.
