Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE)

The FDLE's criminal history records comprise arrest information, charges, and custody status of offenders in Manatee County. Anyone can use the Computerized Criminal History (CCH) system to look up these files online. However, fingerprint-based background checks are available only to record owners and authorized agencies.

To use the CCH portal, requesters can choose the Instant Search option and enter the necessary search criteria. Requests are typically processed within 24 hours and it costs $24 per search. Requesters can choose the Certified/Non-Certified Search to obtain a more comprehensive criminal history report. On the other hand, the ORI Search option is for recognized agencies with Originating Agency Identifier numbers (ORI) and employers conducting Level 2 background checks for sensitive positions. The cost for each ORI Search varies depending on the agency's access level and the type of report requested.
