The Leon County Sheriff's Office accepts requests for arrest records and background checks by mail, in person, or online. You can submit a records request online through the Public Records Center or send a written request by mail to:

For in-person requests, visit the Records Management Bureau at 3333 W. Pensacola Street, Suite 100, Tallahassee, FL, during regular business hours from Monday through Friday.

Individuals requesting background checks must complete the Local Criminal Records Check form and submit it along with a self-addressed envelope and a $5 fee payable by cash, money order, credit card, or check.
