Arapahoe County, CO Arrests & Jail Records

How to Search Arapahoe County Arrest Records?

Arapahoe County makes an average number of 925 arrests per year out of the state's total 9,417 arrest cases. Per C.R.S. § 24-72-201 (CORA), arrest records are open to the public in Colorado, including residents of Arapahoe County. This access is to the degree that the law allows. Therefore, while people generally have the right to ask for an arrest record, the request may be denied if the record is exempt from disclosure by statutes.

Records of individuals who had their case dismissed, arrest records that did not result in conviction, and juvenile records, including underage drinking and driving (UDD) are sealed. In addition, non-violent criminal records that qualify under the Colorado Clean Slate Act may also be sealed. However, the District Attorney, police, sheriff, and courts of justice are privy to these private records. An arrest record in Arapahoe County costs $6 for a single search.
